Mr. Real Estate's Credentials
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Mr. Real Estate, here's a brief outline of his credentials and why he's qualified to teach these teleclasses ...
George realized that real estate was his secret calling, especially after buying his first investment property in 1989. Since then George and his wife, Arlene, authored numerous books on the subject of real estate, training materials for Realtors, and packages for real estate investing.
George Paukert began his career as a licensed real estate agent in December 1989 and joined a large, well-known office with 470 agents. During his first year in the business, he went from being a very "green rookie" to a "superstar." In just a few months, he won the award for "Best New Agent" four months in a row!
During his real estate career, he won many office awards such as #1 Selling Agent and #1 Listing Agent. He also won the coveted MLS award for Most Listings - where there were 10,000 agents in that Board. Below is a picture of George receiving the MLS award for MOST LISTINGS. And he received awards for being the #1 listing agent in various offices. He went on to partner with a broker and was co-owner of a RE/MAX franchise.
At the time George won that MLS award, he was in the same kind of real estate market you have right now. George used to write a newsletter called, "Red, White, & Blue" which he mailed to his entire mailing list. Each page was a different color - red, white, and blue - so it really stood out. In 2001 George retired from the real estate business and moved to South Florida. He decided to write training materials for Realtors so he could share his knowledge with Realtors who were new to the business or wanted to increase their business.
