CIA - The President's Army

It's frightening, but it's a fact. The Central Intelligence Agency is the President's Army!
By law, the CIA is not accountable to the House of Representatives or the Senate. Not for ANYTHING!
The CIA's budget is secret. We can just estimate that their budget is between $750 million to $1 billion.
Their total number of employees is secret. We can estimate the total number of employees is between 16,000 - 18,000. However, these numbers do not include all types of mercenary agencies the CIA can hire all over the world.
If the CIA is not accountable to anybody for anything, who is the real Chief of the CIA?? The President of the United States! The CIA is not even accountable to the National Security Council which is comprised of the President and a few officials appointed by him. So, the CIA really is an instrument of the President.
Here is the SURPRISING answer. The official reason the CIA was set up, as set forth in the National Security Act of 1947, was to collect and analyze foreign intelligence. However, the real reason was carefully hidden.
There is a clause in the National Security Act of 1947 that states the CIA can perform any function or duty related to intelligence affecting the national security and to be directed by the NSC (National Security Council). This became the CIA's most important job. What ever is the President's concern is also the CIA's concern!
The CIA has many collaborators in very high places such as the House of Representatives, the Senate, and powerful unions such as the A.F.L.-C.I.O. You name the place and there is someone collaborating with the CIA. George Meany, president of the A.F.L.-C.I.O was one of the most effective collaborators for almost 30 years! He has helped to pour money and agents into the free world labor movement.
To cover up Ron Brown's "accidental" death? To cover up Vince Foster's "suicide?" To cover up moving national secrets to China?
